Obituary of John Peter Goerz

Goerz, John Peter - At Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday March 13, 2017, John Goerz, aged 91 years, of Virgil. Husband of the late Margaret (1997) and loving father of the late Aggie (Dave) Martens, Lisa (Ed) Schroeder, John (Elvira), Marlene Howell, Monica (James, 2002) Froese, the late Peter (2015) and Ted (Anna). Brother of Hilda (John) Willms. Predeceased by brothers Peter, Kolia and Jake (Margaret). Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., for one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 17 at 12noon. Interment in Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Gideon Bibles would be appreciated by the family.
