Obituary of Doreen Smith

SMITH, Ruth Doreen - Suddenly at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby on Monday, July 29, 2013. Doreen Smith of Beamsville, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Doc Smith (2008) and dear mother of Judy (Ken) Hayes of London, Larry (Val) Smith of Vineland, Marlene (Dave) Ecker of Cayuga and Janet (Rod) Campbell of St. Catharines. Loving grandmother of Lee-Ann (Richard), Terry, Brad, Kristy (Chris), David (Jackie-2012), Doug (Michelle), Dan (Leah), Roberta (Jay) and Dawn (Jason). Also survived by 14 great grandchildren and sibling Gerry (Jan) Mackie of Grimsby. Cherished sister-in-law of Rozella Hodgkins of Smithville. Doreen is at the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 4998 King St., Beamsville where the family will receive friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-8:30. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, William St., Beamsville on Friday, August 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Mount Osborne Cemetery.
