Obituary of Hilda Mary Green

Green, Hilda Mary – Of Vineland, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 4th, 2017, having enjoyed a wonderful 97 years.  Hilda is survived by her daughter Valerie (Larry); her son Terry (Julie) six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley Green (2001); her sister, Dorothy Whaley; and her brother, Harold Whitcombe.
Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life, on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St.  Reception to follow in the Tallman Fireside Room.  Hilda canvassed and volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society and for Community Care of West Niagara for many years.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to either association, if desired, would be appreciated by the family.
