Pierce, Jacqueline Lois (Peart) A beacon of light that led our family for 72 years has gone out. Jacquie died peacefully at her home in Jordan, Ont., with her family at her side. She was in her 91st year & was pre-deceased by her husband James in July 2012. Beloved mother to Carolyn Favell, & John (Paulette) Pierce. Wonderful grandmother to Rhegan & Corey Favell, Rachel (Jason) Israel & Dr. Drew (Dana) Pierce. She will be greatly missed by 10 great grandchildren: Zoe, Zane, Roxy, Abby, Will, Cooper, Amelia, Eliza, Tenley Landon & James. She will also be missed by June Franzel, Debra Kay, Michael Goldwin, Doug Favell, Megan and Adrian, Angelina and Jackson Quinn & many more nieces, nephews & extended family members. Jacquie is survived by her sister Shirley (Peart, Butt, Viveash). Patricia (Peart, McFarlane) passed away in 2004. She was a person of deep faith & a lifelong member of the Anglican Church. An avid gardener, swimmer, tennis player, golfer & fitness enthusiast, Jacquie took her first karate lesson at the age of 69. She displayed a deep love for all children & especially enjoyed her volunteer time with children with disabilities (cerebral palsy). Our matriarch & the pillar of our family has gone to be with her husband. We will miss you deeply. Visitation will be at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland, on Sunday, September 18 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 8:30pm. Services & communion will be at St. John’s Anglican Church, Jordan, on Monday, September 19 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice may be made in her memory.
