Obituary of Gordon George Groff

Groff, Gordon George – It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Gordon Groff on Monday, September 26, 2016. Predeceased by his first wife Mildred (1989). Survived by his sons Gordon (Cathy) and their children Stephanie and Victoria, and son Norm (Julie). Also predeceased by his 2nd wife Goldie (2003). Survived by her daughters Lara (Derek) and their children Gavin, Keenan, Barrett, and Evan; daughter Heather (Bill)Dearing and their children Adam, Brier, Emma and Lilly; daughter Melanie Book. Also survived by siblings Bill (Joyce) Groff, Lois (George-2000) Clayson, Dorothy (Earl) Davis, and Shirley (Marvin) Hartwick as well as many nieces and nephews and special companion Catherine Pace. Visitation will take place at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland on Thursday, September 29 from 2-4, 7-8:30pm. Funeral Service at Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon St., Beamsville on Friday September 30 at 10:30am with interment to follow at Mount Osborne Cemetery.
