Obituary of Robert McNair

McNair, Robert (Bob) Alvin It is with heavy hearts we announce that Bob was taken from us after his battle with cancer October 11, 2016. At only 69 years of age, Bob was married to Nancy, the love of his life for 43 of those years. He was the loving father to Debbie (Richard), Frank (Julie), Ron (Cheryl). Grandfather to Jordan, Stephanie, Hannah, Alex, Lukas, Aylene & Ronnie Jr., Stephanie and Amber. Predeceased by father Alvin and brother Peter. Survived by mother Margaret, sister Pat (Gary), brother John (Ellen) sister Cathy (Neil). Bob was Past President, 1st Vice President and on the Executive for many years to the Beamsville Legion Br 612. Bob and Nancy have devoted countless hours / years volunteering their time, hard work and commitment to the Branch. It is volunteers like them and their efforts that are often unknown or noticed outside local organizations. He will surely be missed by all. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bob’s life will take place on Friday October 21, 2016 4PM – 8PM at The Beamsville Legion Br 612. A service by President Roy Mackey with Prayer by Reverend Ian Chadwick to take place at 4PM . In lieu of flowers donations to the Beamsville Legion would be greatly appreciated.
