Obituary of John Wichert

Wichert, John - At St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, March 20, 2014, John Wichert, aged 90 years, passed peacefully into his Lord's presence. Most beloved husband of Grace, loving father of Carrie (Henry) Dyck, Ruth (DeWayne) Fliss, Dorothy (Jim) Carrie, Sharon (Norman) Maxwell; an awesome grandfather and great granddad. We miss him dearly. Brother of George (Linda), Walt (Edith) and Marion (Vic) Loewen. Predeceased by siblings Margaret, Louise, Henry & Jake. The family will receive friends at Fairview M. B. Church, 455 Geneva St, St. Catharines on Tuesday, March 25 from 6 - 8pm. The funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, March 26 at 11:00am. Interment at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery will be prior to the funeral. If desired, memorial donations to Christian Children's Fund or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated.
