Obituary of David MacDonald

MacDONALD, David Ferguson, P.Eng. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David, in his 89th year; on Thursday June 19, 2014 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. David was a Marine Engineer with Canada Steamship Lines up to his retirement in 1990. A resident of Heritage Village, Vineland; he is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Dorothy (Barlow); dearly loved by his daughters Jill Kolar (Peter), Alison Newell (Kevin) and by his grandchildren Lauren and Christopher Kolar and David, Emily and Sean Newell. Visitation will be held at the VINELAND CHAPEL of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., Vineland on Tuesday June 24th, 2014 at 10am followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. The Reverend Cheryl Wood-Thomas will be officiating. Donations in lieu of flowers to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and Vineland United Church would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. James Woodland and the nurses and staff of Ward C at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care given to David.
