Obituary of Justina Becker

BECKER, Justina - Aged 91 years, died peacefully at Tabor Manor, St. Catharines, Saturday, June 21, 2014. Justina was the last surviving member of her Crimea Mennonite family which escaped the Soviet inferno in the mid 1920's, settling in Kitchener. She was a Bell telephone operator for four decades. Justina was a life-long member of Mennonite Brethren congregations in Kitchener, Vineland and St. Catharines. A quiet graveside burial service will take place Tuesday, June 24th at 2:30 pm at Memorial Gardens (Christus Garden), 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau, ON. She is survived by nieces Annie Klassen, Elfrieda Heinrichs, Marina Unger, Debra Classen and nephews John Dick and John Rosenfeld.
