Potter, Mary J. (Dayman) - Born Toronto, May 3, 1918. Died Beamsville, July 16, 2014. Wife of late Ted Potter. Predeceased by parents Winnifred & Arthur Dayman, brothers Bill and Max Dayman. Survived by brother Arthur (Gwyn) Dayman, sister in-law Marjorie (Max) Dayman, step-daughter Judy (Fraser) Seagram. Grandmother to Chris (Janice), great grandmother to Brianna, Jessica and Alexander Stuart Copeland, niece Susan (Peter) Murdza, nephews Bill (Diane) Dayman, Gavin (Cindy), Drew (Heather) and Trevor. Great nieces and nephews Katlyn and Bill Murdza, Emily Dayman, Christie, Connor, Gregor, Olivia Dayman. Past Matron Loyal Chapter # 76, O.E.S. Dunnville, Past President, Charter and Life member of Beamsville and District Lioness Club, Past Commissioner and Trefoil member of Girl Guides Association. Volunteer at Albright Manor for years. Enjoyed reading, cross-words and bridge. She enjoyed life and her latter years in Albright Manor were also thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to all the staff and thanks to all who have made her life so interesting. Family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL OF TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. Vineland on Friday, July 18 from 2-4, 7-8:30pm. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Saturday, July 19 at 10am with a reception in the Fireside Room immediately following. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Dunnville. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Albright Foundation.
