FLUIT, Fanny (nee Hessels) - On Thursday April 19, 2018 the LORD in His loving kindness called home His child, Fanny Fluit, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Klaas Fluit (2014). Dear mother of Alice and Lucas† Meyer, Hennie†, Pete and Katie Terpstra, Jane and Pete Broere, Clara and Jake Veldman, Hilda and Kor Reinink, Margaret and John Verburg, Ken and Lisa Fluit, Ivan and Karen Fluit. Survived by 30 grandchildren and 82 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Hennie Terpstra, son-in-law Lucas Meyer and granddaughter Veronica Peaire. Dear sister of Klaas† and Mien† Hessels, Piet† and Aalie† Hessels, Henk† and Hillie† Hessels, Hillie and Marrissen† Stevens, Lucas† and Klaasje Hessels, Be† and Jantje Hessels. Dear sister-in-law of Hilda† and Bert† Drost, Griet and Geert† DeRoo, Henk† and Joan Fluit, Freddie and Phil Muys. Friends and family will be received at the Immanuel United Reformed Church, 2900 Fourth Avenue, Jordan on Monday April 23, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at 11:00 am in the Immanuel United Reformed Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family.
