Obituary of Katie Penner

Katie Penner (nee Teske)

Dec. 4, 1934 – May 22, 2018

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear loving mother and precious oma.  After a courageous battle with cancer, Katie entered into the presence of the Lord Jesus.  Predeceased by her husband Jakob (2016), she will be greatly missed by her daughter Rita (Don) Wall, daughter Tina (Ignazio) Boccia, son Peter (Cheryl) Penner, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Special thanks to the caring staff on the 2nd floor of Tabor Manor.

Visitation will be at Grantham M. B. Church, 469 Grantham Ave, St. Catharines on Friday, May 25 from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m.  Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.  followed by a service in the church at 11:00 a.m.  Memorial donations can be made to Mennonite Central Committee or the Canadian Cancer Society.
