Obituary of James Wood Muir

Muir, James Wood - Peacefully at home in his 72nd year on Wednesday, September 5. Predeceased by his parents, James and Rachel Muir. Eulogized in his own message left behind for family and friends, “I have been blessed with a loving, loyal supportive wife (Shirley of 41 years), two beautiful and caring daughters (Laura and Allison)and their loving husbands; and the joy of my later years, grandchildren Jack, Saoirse and Lyla. It doesn’t get any better than this. I am at peace. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support throughout the years.” Also survived by brother, John (Barb), brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and many cherished lifelong friends. Cremation has taken place. A private interment for family will be held. If so desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. We will forever miss your love, generosity, wisdom and hugs, Papa.
