Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans – John Lennon.
Our brother’s warm heart has stopped beating and his good soul has ascended into heaven. We part in pain from our beloved brother Mike. May God keep him close until we can all be together again one day. Our sincere and deepest condolences to all of the Kuhl family at this difficult time. Rest in peace Mike. God bless.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glint on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the soft starlight at night.

Although Michael was my uncle, our closeness in age made it feel more like siblings and friends. When I heard this news, the first memory I had was playing Ghost Busters in the basement on the computer during one of our summer visits. Mike, of course, was an expert at it, and it seemed I could sit for hours and watch him play. We also shared a favorite dish at a restaurant in Santa Barbara called Left at Albuquerque. He called me from the restaurant to confirm how excellent it was! I will also never forget how passionate he was about the game Pictionary!! I definitely know where my competitive spirit comes from :)
Taken too soon. My love and prayers to his beloved mother, siblings, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
