Mike was a wonderful, caring, and extremely humourous friend to me in High School.
We worked together on the lighting and sound crew, and spent countless hours in rehearsals and setups for theatre events!
He was always ready to work, learn, and assist, in anything that needed to be done!
Although we hadn't spoken in eight or so years, I still counted Mike as one of my good friends. I am saddened to hear of his death, he will be missed greatly by all that knew him! and the world is a smaller place without him!
Rest in Peace, my Friend!

My very deepest condolences
I'm going to miss our heartfelt conversations in the kitchen and reminiscing about the good old Legato days. Mike was kind, generous and a thoughtful friend.

It had been a great honor to work with Mike in the past a few years in EMC. Mike was such a nice and warm person who always had a big smile on his face and always tried to match his socks with shirts :). It was really shocking to hear his passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope he is happy and still has a big smile on his face no matter where he is right now.
My heart goes out to you and your family in this difficulty time. I am here if any help is needed.
My deepest condolences,
Nan Zhou

I was privileged to have Mike's friendship during my time at EMC and beyond. He would always have all the time in the world for me and everyone else in his life. Mike was very thoughtful. He was a welcome and frequent visitor in my cubicle, just as I always felt at home and welcome in his. Mike was a sincere and genuine man. Words can not express how sorely he shall be missed.
Rest in peace, Mike.

Mike was a cherished colleague while I was at EMC in Burlington. We were not on the same team, but he always included me in various adventures. He would not be afraid to speak his mind. He cared deeply about his work and those around him to do the right thing. He will be sorely missed. It is especially sad since his passing was unexpected as he was moving forward with his life.
My condolences to Mike's family, Susie, and his large circle of friends.

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glint on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the soft starlight at night.

Although Michael was my uncle, our closeness in age made it feel more like siblings and friends. When I heard this news, the first memory I had was playing Ghost Busters in the basement on the computer during one of our summer visits. Mike, of course, was an expert at it, and it seemed I could sit for hours and watch him play. We also shared a favorite dish at a restaurant in Santa Barbara called Left at Albuquerque. He called me from the restaurant to confirm how excellent it was! I will also never forget how passionate he was about the game Pictionary!! I definitely know where my competitive spirit comes from :)
Taken too soon. My love and prayers to his beloved mother, siblings, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
