Obituary of Annie Jean Senn

SENN, Jean (nee McQueen)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23 with family at her side, three days after reaching her 95th birthday. Pre-deceased by her loving husband, Stewart, and her five siblings Jack (Phyllis), Murray (Mabel), Margaret Anderson (Ken), Leslie (Kay, Pat), Peter (Kay). Cherished mother of John (Andrée) and Jim (Karen). Loving grandmother to Erin, Will (Kaya), Heather (Mathieu), Kevin (Amy), and Jessica (Trevor). Proud great-grandmother, “Granny”, to Avery, Tommy, Henry, Bridget, and Felix. Fondly remembered by friends and a large extended family. We will miss her ever-present smile and the way it lit up her face, the laugh that was never far behind that smile, and her sunny disposition. She has left us with countless wonderful memories to cherish. A very special thank you to the caring and compassionate staff at Tabor Manor who took such good care of her.

Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Home in Vineland on Tuesday November 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral service at First Grantham United Church in St. Catharines on Wednesday November 28 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a light lunch and social time in the church hall.
