Obituary of Angela Kralj

KRALJ, Angela (February 1, 1932-November 30, 2018)
It is with heartfelt sadness that we share the passing of our mother after a courageous struggle.  She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Hamilton General Hospital.  Predeceased by loving husband Mirko (1992) and brother Joze (2003).  A loving and devoted mother to Andrea (Michael) of Toronto, Freida of Tillsonburg, Darlene (Curt) of Vineland. Grandmother to Brad (Megan), Kate (Craig), Chivon, Brittany (Brett), Derek,  Kristen and Ashley. Great-Grandmother to Benjamin, Cohen, Arlo, Chase and Ayden.
She came to Canada at 21 years of age in 1953, with her loving husband, Mirko, by her side.  Humble beginnings in Slovenia fuelled their strong work ethic to develop a better life and future for themselves and their children.  Mom was passionate and full of life and love. She enjoyed music, dancing and singing. Her family meant everything to her. She embraced Canada as her new home but never lost her love of her Slovenian roots and traditions. She loved the outdoors and took great pride in fruit and vegetable farming. She was a modest woman of integrity, honesty and courage with strong family values. Her silent strength was respected by all.  She instilled in her children strong work ethics and taught us to strive to always do our best in all our endeavours.
