Seeing Emo face triggered fond memories and discussions amongst the Folkerts gang. We really appreciated the "style" of your family and your faith. May the Lord continue to walk with you all and give extra strength during this time.

Dear Pauline and Family,
We were was stunned to hear this morning of Emo's death, so I can hardly imagine your own response to his sudden passing. In the years I knew Emo, I always wished I could have come to know him better, but you and he chose a different and more courageous route than merely to stay at Covenant. Instead you together gave heart and soul to The Village since its birth and I have always been pleased with that bold decision. I am also grateful that you did find each other, though wish you could have had more years together. Yet I know the years you spent together were full of blessings for both and of learning for you, Pauline, at least to see close up a dear man "living life in the fast lane," as that marvellous card posted at your entry reminded us. Now there is no fast or slow, no age or time for Emo. There is endless blessing and shalom, to which we all aspire, even though the transition is so, so difficult. Know you are held up in prayer. May God provide mysterious blessings in this time of grief framed, we pray, in Hope. Jim and Rose

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Janet. I have so many good memories, visiting your home on Cannaught Ave, and later working with Emo. His wry, dry sense of humour, and his willingness to work as a team, always encouraging and helpful.
Trusting your day tomorrow will be a day of shared and fun memories. Blessings to you, Janet, and Herb and John too. Sorry we can't be there.

Dearest Pauline,
What bitter sweet news to hear of Emo's passing. I am grateful for the few months I knew him and saw a life filled with energy, an inquisitive mind and a faith and willingness to serve. I am praying for all of you to feel the shelter of His wings as He carries you and your sorrow.
Much love,
Kerri
