Obituary of Leuntje Nieuwenhuyzen

Nieuwenhuyzen, Leuntje - It is with sorrow that we announce the death of our dearly beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother in her 97^th year on December 5, 2018

She died peacefully at the United Mennonite Home where the caring staff took care of her for four years.

She was the beloved wife of Leen Nieuwenhuyzen (1998).

She was the dearly loved mother of Jackie and Bill (deceased) Louws, Tom(deceased) and Joan Nieuwenhuyzen, Willy Nieuwenhuyzen, Corry and Dave Bowley, Bill and Ineke Nieuwenhuyzen, John Nieuwenhuyzen, Bas and Joanne Groenenboom, Jim Nieuwenhuyzen. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. on Friday, December 7 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1142 Lakeshore Rd. W., St. Catharines will conduct the funeral service on Saturday December 8^th at 2pm. Interment will follow in Vineland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Mennonite Home.
