Obituary of Marion Beulah Stewart

It is with great sadness that the family of Marion Beulah Stewart announces her passing at home on February 12th, 2019.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Rob, daughter, Jonna (Ken) and sisters, Barb (Ben, deceased) and Joan, sister-in-law’s, Sherry (Mike), Debbie (Eric), Ruth, brother-in-law’s, Wayne (Lisa), David (Gale) and granddaughter, Krista. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joy.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, Brad (Taunya), Shelly (Steve), Nicole, Cathryn, David, Kyle, Jason, Jamie, William, Joseph, Gregory, Wendy, Jeff, Benjie, Frank, Earla, Barbie, Marjorie,  Azure, Rhea as well as great nieces and nephews.  Marion touched so many people’s lives throughout her 77 years of life that is impossible to list them all.

She adored her three cats, Charlie, Sammie and Whiskers and Rob joked that he was number 4 in line. Marion was appreciative of friend, Sharon for looking after her fur babies when called upon.

In Marion’s lifetime, she was not only a wife, mom, sister, grandmother, aunt but also a caregiver to many young children and enjoyed helping to form their young lives. She also supported many families with housekeeping services and worked as a professional seamstress.

She had many interests including pen pals, gardening, birds, trips to Value Village, collecting her many, many mugs and had a huge love of everything yellow. She enjoyed writing her pen pals all through the years and cherished her childhood friend, Phyllis who became a pen pal after Marion moved to Ontario from her beloved hometown, Sackville, New Brunswick. In recent years, she enjoyed spending summers at the trailer park with all her camping friends and especially the musical Friday night campfires.

Special thanks to the doctor who took such special care of her, Dr. Aube and also to the wonderful nurses from St. Elizabeth and VON.
