Myrna Beamer

Obituary of Myrna Beamer

Beamer, Myrna Suzannah Jane (March 3, 1937 – February 15, 2019)

Myrna Beamer went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Bignucolo Residence in Chapleau, Ontario at the age of 81 years.

Loving wife of Wray (predeceased) for over 43 years and mother of Lynn (Robert) Belair and Anne Rowe, both of Chapleau. Cherished grandmother of Bradley Rowe. Survived by brothers Roswell McPherson (Marilyn predeceased) & Ray McPherson (Melanie). Predeceased by brother Ralph McPherson and sister Marlene Comfort. Missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Myrna spent decades teaching piano to many willing and unwilling students alike! Her love for her Lord found her playing the piano and organ for quartets, choirs, trios and services in many churches across Ontario.

Myrna loved to travel whether it was in a tent, camper or hotel; local, provincial or international! She had been all across Canada from coast to coast, throughout most of the United States and overseas to Switzerland, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales before reaching her final destination… Heaven! Myrna has been ready for over a decade to join Wray “in a little cabin in the corner of Glory”!. Hopefully Wray has it ready!

Special thanks to Dr. Kendra Saari, Dr, Daniel Beamish and all the amazing nurses and staff at the Bignucolo Long Term Care Residence. You made her feel at home!

The funeral service will be held on Friday February 22 at 12noon at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., with visitation 1 hour prior. Reception to follow at the Fireside Room of the funeral homes. Interment at Lane’s Cemetery.

If desired, in lieu of flowers a donation to Freedom Village, Burlington at www.canadahelps.org; The Caring Project or Activation Department at the Chapleau General Hospital Foundation www.sschs.ca; or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
