Obituary of Stanley David Clayson

Clayson, Stanley David – Called home to be with his Lord on Tuesday April 16^th, 2019 at McNally House, Grimsby where he received incredible, gracious care. Husband for almost 65 years to Anne (nee Friesen). Father of Beverley (Karl) Merritt, Bob (Debra) Clayson, Ginny (John) Merritt and Ed (Wendy) Clayson. Grandfather of Sherri (predeceased 2018) (Matt) Ploughman, Heidi (Ryan) Carrigan, Vanessa (Sean) Myers, Brenda (Michael) VanHemmen, Angela (Matthew) Brnjas, Christy (Andrew) Daley, Ian (Christina) Merritt, David (Melissa) Merritt, Graham (Emma) Clayson and Maxwell Clayson. Great grandfather of 18. Siblings the late George (Lois), late Eric (Mary), Harrold (late Mona) and late Goldie (late Gordon) Groff. Survived by in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Wednesday April 17 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon St., Beamsville on Thursday April 18 at 11am. Private family interment to precede.
