Obituary of Michaela Dorothy Keegan

North, Michaela “Kala” (nee Keegan) – Peacefully on December 3, 2019 in her 54^th year, at Hospice Niagara in St. Catharines, Kala passed away with loved ones by her side.  Kala is survived by her beloved husband Jack.  Loving mother of Nick (Sarah) of Grimsby and precious granddaughter Claire.  Survived by sisters Lesley, Beverly and Stephanie.  Predeceased by parents Denis (2011) and Margaret Keegan (2004), and brothers Graeme (2018) and Mark (2014).  Michaela also leaves behind 6 nephews and many loving friends and extended family.  She was very passionate about gardening and was an active member of Smithville Legion Branch 393.  The family would like to thank Hospice Niagara for their outstanding compassionate care.

A Celebration of Kala's Life will be held at the Smithville Legion Branch 393 on Sunday, December 15 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
