Obituary of Nelly Epp

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Nelly Epp on December 9, 2019 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 93rd year. 

She peacefully left this world to enter into her heavenly rest.  Predeceased by her husband, Willy Epp (1978) and her parents Abraham and Aganeta Braul, sisters Margarete Braul, Gertrude Pauls and brother Johann Braul.

She will be greatly missed by her seven children, Rita Niessen (Heinz), Hans-Juergen Epp (Althea), Erika Ankersmit (Hans), Edith  (Lampman) Pielechaty, (Shaun), Albert, Harold and Arnold Epp; also 14 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Nelly worked as a cook at the VUM Home for many years and thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at the MCC Benefit Shop after retirement.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King Street, Vineland  on Wednesday, December 11, from 2:00-4:00pm to 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, at the Vineland United Mennonite Church, 3327 Menno Street, Vineland at 10:30 am.
