Obituary of Humberto Manuel Arruda

 

Arruda, Humberto Manuel - It is with broken hearts that the family of Humberto Manuel Arruda announce his sudden passing on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 at the age of 67.

Humberto was born in Terceira, Açores on September 25th, 1953. He was a family man. He loved his wife, kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, parents, siblings, and furbabies dearly. They were always in his thoughts and everyday life. He was incredibly creative and loved creating with his hands. He would spend hours on end making intricate objects for his family such as houses and boats just out of clothespins. He was incredibly giving and would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it.

He leaves his loving wife and love of his life, Joanne Arruda; daughter Nancy Correia and son-in-law John Correia, daughter Sandy Silveira and son-in-law Victor Silveira, son Danny Arruda, & son David Arruda and daughter-in-law Dina Arruda. His grandchildren Christopher Correia, Amanda Addison, Jessica Correia, Samantha Silveira, Mackayla Arruda, Victoria Silveira, Mason Arruda & Matthew Arruda will miss him greatly. Blessed as a great-grandfather to Sophia Addison, Noah Addison, Izaac Correia, & Aaliyah Addison.

Loving son of Manuel Arruda (late) and Francelina Arruda (late), and the oldest of 6 siblings; sister Nelia Greenfield, brother Frank Arruda, sister Alice Grosso & brother-in-law Joe Grosso, sister Grace Lethbridge, beloved brother Paul Arruda (late), and sister Susan Creazzo. Humberto will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.

 

Visitation will take place on Monday, April 5th from 6:00 - 8:00pm.  Pre registration is required.  To register for visitation please follow this link - HUMBERTO ARRUDA VISITATION  Funeral mass will be celebrated place at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Ave, Grimsby, ON L3M 5J6 on Tuesday, April 6th at 11:00am with rite of committal to follow at Our Lady Of The Angels Cemetery.

Humberto loved all types of flowers; any flowers can be sent to Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St. Vineland, ON, L0R 2C0). To honor Humberto, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
