Obituary for Brian Mark Cox

Its with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Brian Mark Cox on Tuesday April 13, 2021 in his 66th year.

Brian was born on September 17, 1955 to Roy and Audrey Cox in Hamilton, Ontario.

He attended Hillpark Secondary School and completed his education and graduated from Great Lakes Christian College in Beamsville, Ontario.

While working within his father's business for many years, Brian graduated from the Faculty of Bible and Missions, which fueled his love for preaching the gospel of Christ.  His preaching led him to work with several small churches in Ontario and Saskatchewan spanning over a 30-year period.

Brian’s love for youth was always the heart of his Christian ministry, leading him to a Northern Ontario First Nation Reserve where he is still remembered by many as “Uncle Brian”.

In 2010 Brian returned to the Niagara region and worked as a valued employee of Realstar Property Management.

Brian became involved at Bethany Community Church in St. Catharines where he has served as a deacon, as well as in Children’s Ministry.

Brian is survived by his loving wife and best friend Alison, his children Jonathan and Sarah, his beloved siblings Elaine (Mike), Jeff and Michelle (Joel), granddaughter Amethyst as well as many nieces and nephews.

Brian is pre-deceased by his parents Roy and Audrey, sister-in-law Roberta and nephew Daniel.
