Obituary of Douglas Brian Harris

Harris, Douglas Brian - On July 21, 2021, in the company of friends and family, Doug passed away. He had fought a fierce and stubborn 30 year battle with heart disease as only Doug could do, while still maintaining a great sense of humour and love of life. Doug worked most of his career as a millwright at Nabisco/Kraft Foods, and shared a love of car racing and fixing up anything with a motor that he could find.

He is now enjoying  a sangria and dancing it up with his daughter Lisa(2012) and good friend Bob(2018), probably to the B52’s or AC/DC.

Doug will be greatly missed by his wife Cathy and children Owen(Emma) and Rebecca, cats Angus and Abby, as well as so many friends and neighbours. Special thanks to Stevensons, Ed and Linda, Dave and Lori, friends of First Mennonite and Dr. Adnan Hameed.

Cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. It’s a Long Way to the Top, Doug!
