Obituary of Peter J. Raakman

Raakman, Peter J. - 

Peter Raakman went to be with his Lord August 18, 2021 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife Joanne (nee Kraay) of 58 years, sons Pete (Ingrid), Tim (Rachel), Jim, Dave (Mel) and his grandchildren Brianna, Rachel, Zion, Katie, Garrett, Micah, Eli and Olivia. Peter was also a special friend to Kona. He will also be missed by his sister Ann (Herman) Kloosterman, nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Pieter and Christina Raakman, and his sister Tini (Jan) Koopman. 

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11 o'clock in the morning at Bethany Community Church, 1388 Third St., St. Catharines, Ontario. The service is being streamed live on Zoom; to join virtually, click on this link: https://bethanycc-ca.zoom.us/j/87104151056 .  Interment of Peter's ashes will precede this memorial service for immediate family.
