Obituary of Elaine Dobrenski

Surrounded by family, Elaine passed peacefully at home on July 31st, 2022 at the age of 80 after a short struggle with cancer. Devoted wife and best friend of 58 years to Bob, loving mother to Doug (Kathy), Don (Jennifer), Steve (Sarah) and Eva (Jeff). Cherished Grandmother to Jessica (Cole), Cole (Helengrey), Gillian (Kalum), Emily, Ethan, Leah, Hali, Kyra, Jude, Micah, Josiah, Liam, and Eli; Great-Grandmother to Wyatt and Shepherd.

Elaine was born and lived in Vineland her whole life and attended the Vineland Missionary Church. She will be remembered for her gifts of hospitality and encouragement. She was a giving and thoughtful person and had a heart for the elderly.

In keeping with her wishes, her body was donated to the School of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Visitation will take place at the Vineland Missionary Church on September 9th, 2022 (2:00-4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm). A Celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at the Vineland Free Reformed Church on Sept 10th, 2022 (11:00am). Memorial donations may be made to Compassion International and Hope and Healing International.
