Obituary of Anna Heikoop

 HEIKOOP, Anna  (Rijken)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anna on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Born in The Netherlands on October 10, 1930, she  immigrated to Canada in 1964. Anna was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Samuel of 67 years, (July 13, 2020).

Survived by her devoted children Rita and Rick Brown, Herman and Anne Heikoop, and Dick Heikoop. Beloved granny to Chris and Katie Heikoop (Noah and Charlotte), Greg and Andrea Heikoop (Claire), Brandon and Chang Heikoop (Elliot and Emma), Kelsey Heikoop and Scott Gow (Penelope). Survived by sisters in law Cornelia Heikoop and Trudy Heikoop along with many nieces and nephews in Canada and The Netherlands. She was the last surviving member of her 10 siblings.

A special thank you to all the dedicated staff of Terraceview at  Shalom Gardens for the loving care Anna received, making her feel at home.

The family will receive family and friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland, Monday evening 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at The Netherlands  Reformed Congregation, 1142 Lakeshore Rd., St. Catharines on Tuesday, September  27 at 1pm. Interment at Vineland Cemetery.

At Anna's request, flowers gratefully declined.  Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
