Obituary of Vera Maria McCausland

Vera McCausland 

Surrounded by her loved ones at McNally Hospice House in Grimsby, Ontario, Vera passed peacefully on October 8th, 2022.

She was Born June 8th, 1951 in Munich, Germany. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria and sister Antoinette. Wife to Joe Svoljsak. Mother to Tara (Michael) Wissink; and Remy Podrats. Grandmother to Ethan, Cameron and Cole.

Vera lived in the Toronto area most of her life, relocating and spending the last 20 years in the Niagara region. She had a fulfilling career in Television Media Advertising that spanned decades. Always in pursuit of her next treasured find, thrifting and antiquing brought her the greatest joy, second only to spending time entertaining and cooking for her friends and family. She had impeccable taste, style and a passion for travel.
