Beatrice Bruneau

Obituary of Beatrice Yvonne Bruneau

Peacefully at the St Catharines General Hospital, Saturday November 5, 2022, Beatrice Bruneau passed away.

Beatrice was born one hundred years ago, March 30th, 1922 on a farm in St Chrysostome, Quebec. She was one of eleven children, of Pierre Hebert and Rose Bonhomme. Proceeded by her loving husband Michael Bruneau (1986) and daughter, Monique (Reid), 1981.  Dear mother to Lise and mother-in-law to the late John Staples. Loving grandmaman to Nicole and (Guy vanKrimpen), Collin and (Kristen) Staples. There was a special place in her heart for great children John, Robert, Beatrice, and was lovingly awaiting to meet Charlie and Theo.

In her younger years she and Michael opened a flower shop (Paris Florist). In 1985, they retired to Niagara on the Lake to be closer to family. Beatrice's life was loving and nourishing. She touched many lives with her warm smile and loving demeanor.

The staff at Radiant Care , Pleasant Manor in Virgil were extremely kind to her. It was greatly appreciated.

A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday November 12,2022 at Lakeshore Cemetery at 10:30am followed by a reception at 11:30am Tallman Funeral Homes, Fireside Room. It would have made her happy to know that the people she knew remembered her with a smile. Beatrice's wish was that we show colour and refrain from wearing all black to honour her life.

If you wish to make a donation McMaster's Children Hospital in Hamilton would be appreciated.

She is resting in peace with her Lord.
