Obituary of Sandy David Kozar

Sandy David Kozar, 79, passed away suddenly on November 5^th, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Welland, he was a lifelong employee of General Motors St. Catharines.

He is survived by his cherished wife Karen. Loving father of Kristen Reintjes (Dennis) and Justin (Sue). Proud grandfather of Caitlin, Connor, Jordan, and Jillian. Dear brother of Sonja Patterson (Barry), Danny (Diane), and Terry (predeceased).

Sandy was known for his kind heart, sense of humour, and warmth towards others. He was part of the first group of members at Hunters Pointe Golf Club, where he spent time perfecting his putt. He will be fondly remembered by his close-knit group of friends in Welland that would meet up daily for drinks. His family will miss his funny stories and weekends spent watching and betting on football.
