Obituary of Maria Dyck

Maria Dyck (June 5, 1925       -    February 9, 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Maria Dyck (nee Siebert) at the age of 97 years on Thursday February 9, 2023 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital with family at her side.

She was a loving and special mother to Mary Pankratz, Helene Fritz, Peter & Mary Dyck, Hannelore & Victor Krugel and Erika Dyck. Oma/Omi will be dearly missed by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband David Peter Dyck, her sons Victor Dyck and Heinz Dyck, sons-in-law Henry Pankratz and Reinhold Fritz and daughter-in-law Christine Dyck.

Maria was also predeceased by her sister Susanne Janzen and her husband Hans Janzen and sister Justina Flaming and her husband Hans Flaming.

A graveside service will be held at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery on Tuesday February 14, 2023 at 12:00.

A Celebration of her life will be held later in the spring.
