Obituary of Veronica May Warden

In her sixty-sixth year, the Lord called home his faithful daughter, Veronica May Warden (nee Dykstra) beloved and cherished wife of Garry Warden for nearly forty years. 

 

Predeceased by her parents, Lieuwe and Maaike Dykstra.  Veronica will be greatly missed by her 14 siblings and their spouses; Chuck & Corrie Dykstra, Fran (Mike±) Bylsma, Al Dykstra & Weya Wilson, Marty & Maryann Dykstra, Teresa Shepherd, Shirley & Brian Stouck, Raymond Dykstra, Frank & Gail Dykstra, George & Donna Dykstra, Bob & Lorraine Dykstra, Greta & Brian Spielmacher, Wendy Dykstra, Jane & Gerard Dawe, Ed & Wendy Dykstra; her step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all her nieces and nephews.

 

Veronica leaves a legacy of Christ's love and generosity behind in the memories and influence she had on her family and friends.  Veronica devoted her life to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, through her decades of service at Kingdom Bound Ministries, her ownership of the St. Catharines Christian bookstore "The Singer and the Song", her friendly greeting to the people of Vineland who entered I.D.A., and her generosity and love for the people who had the blessing of knowing her.  

 

Visitation will be held at Immanuel United Reformed Church at 2900 Fourth Ave, Jordan, Ontario, on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm  with a memorial service at the church on Monday, March 13th, 2023 at 11 AM Lord willing.
