Obituary of Eileen Regan Nagels

In her 100th year, Eileen of King Gardens in Mississauga, passed on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 following a massive stroke.

She was born in London, England to Samuel Lawrence Brown and Annie (Regan) on January 11th, 1918.

She served as an instructor for the Girl Guides for many decades. Also as a volunteer for The Arthritis Society of Canada.  She was declared as Mississauga’s “Senior Citizen of the Year” in 2004 and enjoyed many faithful years at St. Peter’s Anglican Church.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her older sister Amelia (Jenkinson) and Barbara (Inskip), her younger sister. She will be missed by her children, Derek and Valerie and her grandchildren, Derek’s: Craig (Sarah), Melanie (John) and Jason (Suzanne), Valerie’s: Sharon (Wally), Lauraine (Allan), Kathleen (Robert), Cecil (Sabrina), Lawrence ‘Rocky’,  Juanita (Brian),  and numerous great grandchildren and some great great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of Eileen’s life on Sunday, November 12, 3:00 – 5:00pm at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 3041  Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5L 0B7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Peter’s Anglican Church or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
