Obituary of Alice VanDriel
VanDriel, Alice (nee DeJager). February 15, 1928-August 20, 2023
On August 20, 2023 the Lord in His sovereignty took unto Himself our Dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her husband Aart.
Beloved mother of John (Mary) VanDriel, Lia (Lorne) Bayne , Adrian VanDriel and Janet (Ralph) Schut.
Dear Oma to 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Truus Heikoop, brother Adrian DeJager, sister-in-law Doreen VanDriel and brother-in-law John Frese.
Although we will miss her, we have comfort knowing she is with her Lord and Saviour.
Many thanks to the staff of United Mennonite Home for there excellent care over the last nine years.
The family will receive friends at Heritage Reformed Church, 4171 Fifteenth St., Jordan Station, on Thursday August 24, 2023 from 6-8pm and Friday August 25 from 10-11am with the Funeral Service starting at 11am. Interment to follow at Vineland Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be to Jordan Christian School.
