Pereboom-van Apeldoorn, Maria Elisabeth - With sorrow we announce the death of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Maria Elisabeth Pereboom-van Apeldoorn. Maria was born in Heerde, the Netherlands, May 14, 1929 and died in Grimsby, Ontario, December 6, 2023. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Jan Pereboom. Mother of Liz and Henry, Derk and Nancy, Pieter and Margaret, Bert and Valerie, Maarten and Ruth, Jodie and Tom. Grandmother of Mia and Lorne, Tys and Sarah, Eleanor, Marilyn, Jonathan and Heidi, Dirk and Molly, Willem and Chelsea, Max and Kelly, Ben and Katie, Elisabeth, Anna and Hyeunjoon, Lucas and Rachel. Great grandmother of James. Funeral service to be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1 pm with an hour of visitation starting at 12noon at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 1230 Old Martindale Road, St. Catharines. Interment to follow in Vineland Cemetery.
