Obituary of Gladys Miriam Penford

Penford, Gladys Miriam (nee Kwint) went to be with her Lord peacefully at home in St. Catharines on December 13, 2016 at the age of 95. Loving wife of Clifford E. Penford, (predeceased) and endeared mother of Barry Wayne, Joanne Ruth, David Scott and Mark Clifford.  She was the proud grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 15, almost 17: Wayne (predeceased) ,(Vera,daughter Tammy ( Skot Caldwell, children Abby, Harper): Joanne (Arnold van Vliet) and children, Daniel (Cheryl, children Megan, Madylin, Samantha; Rachel (Andrew Stuart, children Josiah, Micah, Hannah, Naomi, Grace: Adriel (Amanda, children Amelia, Kaelan)Oliver;  Joel; Luke (Sarah, children Quinn, Brielle); Nigel (Erin); Keziah:  Scott (Monica, children Matthew, Caley):  Mark. Glad has deeply touched the lives of her family and friends and her legacy of love for her Lord lives on. We offer as special thank you to CCAC and all of Mom’s lovely personal support workers for years of amazing care and for the exemplary nurses at St. Elizabeth and Paramed during her final days. We are grateful to Dr. David Reimer for his home visits and faithfully seeing to her health needs all these years.  We couldn’t have done this without all of you. The Funeral will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 10 Arlington Ave. St. Catharines Ontario on Friday December 16th , viewing at 10:00;  funeral to follow at 11:00.  A Reception will follow at Bethel Baptist Church.  Interment is at Vineland Cemetery.
