Marie Hipperson

Obituary of Marie Hipperson

In Loving Memory Marie Hipperson (nee Brunskill) Marie was born to Ella Mae Whaley and Richard Brunskill on a farm in Banner, Ontario on June 7th, 1921. Together with her sisters, Luella, Jean, Irene and brother Ken, the family lived in various locations throughout Ontario during her formative years. When she was 18 years of age Marie married George Hipperson in Ingersoll, Ontario and where their two daughters (Jackie, born June 5th, 1946) and Judy, born November 2, 1950) were born. Marie had one granddaughter (Kristy) and five great grandchildren (Merissa, Joshua, Ila, Kai and Lykan). George and Marie moved to Pleasant Manor in Virgil, Ontario in 1991. Marie’s primary focus was looking after her family. She worked most of her married life and creatively served in her church as much as possible. Her greatest joy was family get-togethers with her sisters and their families. No matter where home was Marie demonstrated her love by providing a stable, positive environment for her children. She encouraged her children towards music also encouraging them in faith and listened when they needed to talk. When her children married, she welcomed their spouses with open arms. Marie considered it a privilege to be “chosen” by her Lord to serve Him and to live life to the fullest. She never thought herself as special, but those who knew her knew she was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
