Obituary of Clayton Eccles

ECCLES, Clayton Benner – At the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, June 1st aged 98 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Gallagher) and as well he is survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Robert Eccles and sisters, Sadie Tallman, Marjorie Cobley and May Hilborn. Clayton was born in Port Dalhousie and a lifelong promoter of the town. He had retired from General Motors in 1974 and until recently had thoroughly enjoyed his lengthy retirement years.
The Funeral Service will be held at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Sunday, June 4th at 3 pm. Family interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Monday. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society or charity of choice.
