Obituary of Frank Neufeld

Neufeld, Frank - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Neufeld, age 85. Long since retired from General Motors, Frank passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 after a short battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Goertz) for 60 years. Loving father of Ann Marie Neustaedter (John), Luise Tarczy (Frank), Trudy Brochu (late Jhaslin Brochu) (Tim Botari), Erica Kennedy (Dale), and Nancy Maier (Greg Smith). Cherished Opa to Nicole Kennedy, Daniel and Andrew Neustaedter, Melanie and Scott Brochu, Steven Milani (Tarczy), Steph Tarczy, Frank Tarczy Jr. (Vicky Carriere). Great Grandfather to baby Lydia (Carriere - Tarczy). Predeceased by his parents Abraham and Aganetha (nee Braun) Neufeld, and by siblings Heinrich Neufeld, Leo Neufeld (Tina) of Vancouver BC, Peter Neufeld (Helga) of Virgil, Maria Schmidt (Peter) of Abbotsford BC, and Elsa Vogt (Hans) of Germany. Survived by his brother Alex Neufeld (Olga) of Virgil, and sisters Luise Kliewer (Jake) of Waterloo, Helena Fast (Jake) of Waterloo, Neta Schmidt (Heinrich) of Germany, and Ira Kaethler (Rudy). Frank and his wonderful style of humour will be greatly missed and always remembered by his loving family, brothers and sisters in-law, and his many nephews, nieces, and friends. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St, Vineland on Sunday, May 3rd from 2 - 5pm. The Funeral Service will be Monday at 10:30am at the Niagara United Mennonite Church, 1775 Niagara Stone Road, Virgil. Interment at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery. Memorial donations to Pleasant Manor would be appreciated.
