So sorry to hear of Mr. Bull's passing. I have many memories of him from Beamsville High School where he taught me and my sister a horticulture class. I really enjoyed him as a teacher. He worked so hard to keep that green house going. He instilled in me a love for plants and to this day I get a lot of pleasure from working in the garden. The above picture brought a smile to my face as that's exactly how I remember him. Please find some comfort in knowing that he touched my life as a student at Beamsville High.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dick's passing , He was fun to have in our exercise class, besides being a good neighbour. I'm sure he's very much missed by gardeners too. I hope you can be comforted knowing we're praying for him.

I enjoyed working with Dick at Beamsville DSS for many years. He was a fine teacher, coach, gentleman and colleague. He did an amazing job in agriculture classes and the greenhouse and opened the door for a number of students to enjoy outdoor education field trips. My sympathies to his family on the passing of a husband, dad and grandfather.

I was privileged to work with Dick for 5 years at BDSS. When things got "hot" I would often drop by Dick's classroom and get calm, experienced and highly professional advice from this wonderful man! We will all miss him. My condolences to family and friends.

We all mourn Dick's illness and passing. Words that come to mind in remembering him as a colleague in teaching and coaching at BDSS are determined, compassionate, calm under pressure, understanding, friend, . . . . His influence on so many was/is extraordinary. Peace especially to Marjorie and family.

Dick was a wonderful teacher and colleague at BDSS. He was so committed to his program and his students. His greatest legacy however, are the wonderful children that he and Marjorie raised. Dick always impressed on me the true importance of family. Cathy and I extend our sincere condolences to Dick's family, friends and students.

As a teaching colleague at BDSS, working with Dick was a pleasure. He certainly was a great role model for new teachers and students. One of my memories of him was when he helped with teaching some cross-country skiing techniques to interested students. The group made an interesting picture skiing around the football field! My condolences to Marjorie, and all Dick's lovely family and friends.

Dick was kind, helpful, approachable and honest. I had worked at BDSS only for a year or two, when one evening Dick gave me a ride to Grimsby. On this occasion he gave me the unsolicited advice: "Don't think you are so different than other people", which doesn't sound very meaningful or prophetic, but for me, the young, snobbish, reclusive, shy teacher it was a very appropriate, insightful remark.
