Obituary of Karl Pfizenmaier

PFIZENMAIER, Karl Heinz - In his heroic attempt to fight for his life, on January 5, 2015 (Karl) Heinz Pfizenmaier, in his 84th year, died peacefully at the St.Catharines Hospital with his family at his side. Devoted husband for 64 years to Hedwig (Heidi) Pfizenmaier. Loving father of Rudy Pfizenmaier, Brian Pfizenmaier, and Karen Hayes (Chris Zolnierczyk). Opa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Carl, Lauren and Lucas. He had worked at TRW for 30 years, retiring in 1994. A special heartfelt thank you to both the Home Support at Heidehof and the wonderful and caring staff at the St.Catharines Hospital for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Rd., St.Catharines on Friday, January 9, 2015 beginning at 9:30am. The Funeral Service will be at 11:30am. Interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice.
