Obituary of Jacob Dick

DICK, Jacob Abram - December 21, 1912 - January 7, 2015 - Went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 7, 2015 at Tabor Manor. He is predeceased by his first wife, Annie (Paetkau 1995) and his second wife Mary (Epp Rempel 2010). He is also predeceased by two grandchildren, Caroline Dick and Graham Klassen as well as great grandson Jacob Dafoe. His sister Kay Bousfield passed away in 2004. Jacob is survived by his children Victor and Erna Dick, Elma and John Klassen, Irma and Alan Dafoe and brother Abe Dick. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchild. We would like to thank all of the staff at Tabor Manor who have loved and cared for Jacob the last three years. The family will receive friends at Scott St. Mennonite Brethren Church, 339 Scott St. on Friday, January 9, 3 - 6pm. Funeral Service in the Church on Saturday at 11am with interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery prior to the service. If desired, memorial donations to Tabor Manor or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family.
