Obituary of Jack Vincent

VINCENT, Jack Wilfred - Peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, after a brave battle with illness, Jack passed away, in his 80th year, on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Jack was a proud police sergeant with the Hamilton Wentworth Regional Police Department for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Irene (Snow); his daughters, Susan Borg (Richard) and Debbie Kinney (Brian). Beloved grandfather to Ryan, Andrew, Julia, Shannon and Sarah. Great Grandpa to Jacob, Noah, Samantha and Theodore. Jack is predeceased by his mother, Mae (1986) and father William (1979). His family would like to thank Dr. O'Dea and the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care given to him in his last few days. Jack was a resident of Deer Park Villa for the past three years and will be missed by many friends and staff there. Visitation will take place at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Wednesday, January 28th 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, January 29th at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
