Obituary of Peter G. Enns

ENNS, Peter G. - At home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Amalie (Molly) for 57 years. Dearly loved father of David and Linda, Karen, Diane, Robert and Angela. Will be missed by his grandchildren, Rodney and Erin J. Enns, Erin Enns, Amy Enns, Daniel Fast, Francis Rowe, Elliot Rowe, Lawren Rowe, Alyssa Enns, and Ethan Enns, and by his great-grandchildren, Sarah, Carson, and Elyse. Survived by his sisters Anne Wall (Jack), Nettie Goerz, Frieda Neufeld (Jake), and Margaret Goerz (Jake). Cherished by his wife's family, Alex Janzen and Myrna Kraft, Hertha and Wayne Small, Henry and Debbie Janzen, and Marianne and Helmut Pankratz. Will be remembered by nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Predeceased by his granddaughter Aileen Enns, sister Hilda Bergman, and brothers-in-law Frank Goerz and Peter Bergman. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12th from 2 -4 p.m. and 6 -8 p.m. at VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., Vineland. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, April 13, at 11 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, 677 Niagara Street, St. Catharines. Private family interment at the Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or MCC would be appreciated. We will remember Peter for his life-long passion for farming, his deep affection for family and friends, and his love of music, travel, and conversation.
