Obituary of Al Dykema

DYKEMA, Al Cornelis - On Thursday, April 16th, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer, Al, in his 80th year passed from this life into the Glorious Presence of his Lord & Saviour. Beloved husband of Helen and dear father of Henry (Sandi), John (Debbie), Evelyn (Rob), Richard (Ingrid). Much loved Opa to 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Nel Blom, Neil (and Patsy) Dykema and Anna (Mike) Peets. The family will receive friends at Immanuel United Reformed Church, 2900 Fourth Ave., Jordan, on Monday from 2-4, 7-9pm. Interment will take place at Vineland Cemetery prior to the Memorial Service to be held in the Church on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11am. Many thanks to the CCAC nurses and the wonderful caring staff at Hospice Niagara. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Stabler Center Hospice Niagara (hospiceniagara.ca) Eph.2:8 - "For by grace you have been saved, through faith-and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God."
