Obituary of Walter Batke

BATKE, Walter - March 31, 1936 - April 22, 2015 - Peacefully at Tabor Manor on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, Walter Batke, aged 79 years, went home to be with his Lord. Beloved husband of Annie and loving father of Christa (Michael) Krause. Opa to Arleigh, Kennedy, Trevi and Brylee. Brother of Alan (Karen) Batke and Linda Batke. He was predeceased by his first wife Emily Sovie. Walter, formerly of Leamington, was an employee of Chrysler Canada in Windsor for 38 years. The family will receive friends at Scott St. Mennonite Brethren Church 339 Scott St., St. Catharines on Monday, April 27 from 7 - 8:30pm. Private interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery prior to the Memorial Service which will be held at the Church on Tuesday, April 28 at 11am. If desired, memorial donations to Family Life Network or Tabor Manor would be appreciated by the family.
