Obituary of E. Fern Smith

SMITH, Elva Fern - At Ina Grafton Gage Village on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, E. Fern Smith, aged 96 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. A long-time resident of Jordan, Fern will be sadly missed by her daughters Faye Butler and Sandy Lachapelle, daughter-in-law Catherine Scott, grandchildren Amy, Fraser, Ryan and Spencer and great grandchildren Emma, Abigail and Keeghan. Also survived by her sister Joan Martin. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Garnet Smith (2012) and her son Glen (2013). Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Fern's life will be held at the VINELAND CHAPEL of TALLMAHN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. Vineland on Saturday May 2, 2015 at 11am with a reception following in the Tallman Fireside Room. If desired, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or Families First (Kinark Child & Family Services; Attention Families First) would be appreciated by the family.
